hiTour app for iPhone and iPad

hiTour delivers interactive tours around art galleries, museums, and private institutions.

Users can scan a QR code (or type a passphrase) to download a tour. After downloading a tour all points are locked. In order to unlock desired content, a user needs to simply scan a QR code that is placed next to the exhibit.
Additionally, tours may contain a quiz that becomes unlocked when all points have been discovered and a form to leave feedback and star rating.

The app has been designed and developed as a second year project at Kings College London for Royal Brompton Hospital in London to allow doctors to deliver high quality tours around the hospital for their medical students. However, the project requirement was to build a modular and extensible system that could work with any organisation. We successfully achieved that and our product can be used by museums, art galleries, and other instutitions that organise tours or exhibitions.
